2nd and 3rd Classes

Today we took a break from the workbook...Miss Michelle led a palm leaf craft for scissors skills practice and provided an accordion book craft you can do at home.

Then we played a balloon game outside.

Please complete LESSONS 25 & 26 at home, over the next two weeks.

On Monday 3/23, we completed pages 283–284, Lesson 24. We learned a song about Action Verbs and played outside.

Homework: Finish Lesson 24, p. 285+]

For those of you who are using the LLATL curriculum at home, please do Lesson 23 at home this week.

We will resume Lesson 24 next week on Monday, March 23.

Today we completed LESSON 21 p. 251 - 252

and played outside!

Homework (2 weeks):

• LESSON 21 Finish Day 2, p. 253 through Day 5;

• LESSON 22 at home

• We will resume with Lesson 23 on March 16.

On Monday we completed Day One of Lesson 20. A few students ran out of time to fill in the blanks - you may want to go over that with them.

We exchanged Valentines, and played 2 games: Bible Verse Unscramble (Matt 7:12) and Pin the Hat on Saint Valentine.

HW: Complete Days 2 - 5.

There is an optional Assessment on p. 249.

Optional activity: We discussed who Saint Valentine was a little. I told them he was killed by the emperor and they can find out why by watching one of these videos....
