Physical Science

Hi Parents,

I wanted to bring to your attention that several school students came to science class yesterday without their builds or the materials needed for the day’s activities. It’s really important that students complete their builds at home and bring all required materials so they can fully take part in our experiments and projects.

When students aren’t prepared, it can slow things down and make it harder for the rest of the class to stay on track. Since each week builds on what we’ve already learned, staying caught up is key to success.

Going forward, if a student doesn’t have what they need for class, they’ll be asked to sit out in the lobby and won’t receive full credit for the day.

Thank you so much for your help making sure everyone comes ready to learn and participate each week!

Literature Class Summary and Homework Due 11/17

Hello Parents,

In class Monday we covered Lesson 7 Day 2 and 4, sorting words into particular topics or categories that we had to determine. We then studied Analogies, first with shapes then with words. Lastly, the students made an aerial map of their bedroom.

If you are covering the Lessons at home, you'll see that Lesson 7 is about making a time capsule and the bedroom map can be used to put in the time capsule if you choose to do so.

Homework:

-Lesson 7 Day 3 a-c. on page 58. **Make a family sheet for each person in your family. Using one piece of paper for each person, write his/her name at the top. then divide the paper into two columns. Title the first column "Who is He/She" and title the second column "What does He/She Do".
