General Discussion

Good evening! What a great first day! I love seeing all your faces every week!!

We have been tossing around ideas on how best to communicate with everyone as a whole ( for things like inclement weather & announcements) and with smaller groups (i.e. class groups, Spanish, Committees, etc). After some discussion this morning with a couple of moms, we have decided we will be adding the Band app as another way for us to communicate quickly and efficiently throughout the school year!

You will receive an invitation to join the Band app, and you may be invited to specific groups based on your child’s class, teachers, or other co-op needs. These groups will allow us to send important reminders, quick updates, and class-specific information without filling up the main communication channels (like group texts can do).

Just an FYI that you probably got some emails tonight about being added to groups on the website. Everyone should be in the General Discussion and Field Trip groups. We then have it broken out by grade group, so you are in the groups for your child and any groups you teach in. With the exception of homework for high school & middle school (use google classroom for this), teachers you can use these groups on to post information about what you learned in class, homework (if it applies) or anything pertaining to class!
