In the Tan literature book please have your student complete Lesson 11 Day 3 parts c and d. Then do Lesson 11, on page 132, Day 4 Part b, Day 3 part f and then Day 4 part c IN THAT ORDER. (You will understand once you look at it.)

This is what the plan was for class on the 16th, I will move forward with the lesson plan next week but wanted them to get this practice to prepare for review and assessment on Monday March 23.

Hello Parents,

Today we finished our discussion on Carry On, Mr. Bowditch and began writing the book report in class. Their homework is to finish the book report. The goal is to have the book report be 1 (full page) - 2 pages.

We do recognize there is a wide range of experience and ability in our class. Parents always have the final say in homework. If you feel 2 pages is too long feel free to have them turn in a shorter book report. If they'll be more successful narrating to you to type or a speech to text app that is fine as well. If you need or want any other suggestions on modifications feel free to reach out.

The purpose of this assignment and all of our homework is to challenge and grow the student and not to overwhelm or discourage. Let us know if we can…

The next book we will be reading is The Bronze Bow. No reading assignments will start till October 20th. If students want to get a head start they are more than welcomed to.
