2nd and 3rd Classes

***IMPORTANT CHANGE: For the Christmas break, we do want you to work on LESSON 12. (This week finish Lesson 11.)

After break, we will resume Lesson 13.

For Lesson 11 today, we did 3 things.

1. Read & discussed the story "Catch the Moon" in the new storybook. Day 1 a, b, Day 2 a, b

2. We reviewed the -ED and -ING words for Day 2 d.

3. We made books!! ...to review the story. Ask your student to read their book to you!! Day 2 b, c.

   When a child reads back to you what they wrote, it helps to lock in their reading skills and they notice spelling.

[For Day 2 d - check the Teacher Book if you want your student to write the words.]

Homework: Finish Lesson 11, Days 3-5, and parts of Day 1-2
