2nd and 3rd Classes

Today in class, we read the last story in the On the Farm book, "The Best Fort in the World."

We discussed forts, action verbs, synonyms, and antonyms. We practiced looking up words in a thesaurus and played Action Verb charades.

For Days 1-2, we SKIPPED 1: e, f. and 2: d, e, f

so you may choose to go over these sections with your student at home.

HOMEWORK:

Days 3 - 5. Also, next week we will take a BREAK from Lessons and have a Thanksgiving Party in class!!!

We will continue Lesson 11 on December 1.

SUGGESTIONS FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK:

• Read lots of books together and thanksgiving Psalms....have your children read aloud to you.

• Make lists or crafts to list what you and your family are thankful are.
